New guidance resources to help understand and support neurodivergency in performing arts

Stop Press! Our new guidance films have arrived. They are to the point and help to shine a light on the areas of difficulty experienced by neurodivergent creatives in performing arts.

With the help of lived experience gathered through our recent Triple A Performer survey, these guidance films help to offer solutions, share good practice and facilitate fair access in performing arts.

These guidance resources focus on a number of different areas of potential challenge, namely:

  • Masking
  • Auditioning
  • Structure and Planning
  • Noise
  • Lighting
  • Touch and Physical Contact
  • Dyslexia
  • Communication

Please take a look at our guidance films below or via our you tube channel here.

Our charity continues to raise awareness and acceptance of neurodivergency in performing arts through training with schools, casting teams, theatres, in fact any professionals supporting neurodivergent creatives. We are excitedly planning our showcase launch event taking place on 12 March 2023 at Sheffield’s City Hall. For further information about any of our work, please contact us either through our website here or on email info.tripleaperformer@gmail.com. We would love to hear from you!

Using and sharing our films with credit to Triple A Performer is welcomed. Reproduction, sale or sharing for profit of these guidance films in any format is prohibited without prior written consent from Triple A Performer.
